Some titbits about me
Hey there, I'm Riëlle, a seasoned Digital Product Designer known for my pragmatic approach and (sometimes too) optimistic outlook. With 10+ years of design expertise under my belt, I have honed my skills to not only craft successful products but also to build lasting connections with clients and users.
Currently, I am the lead designer at adidas for the global website and app. We're responsible for the baseline design of all upper funnel experiences, enabling experiences that connect our consumers to the right products for them, at scale, in all categories.
My design principles revolve around being the best for the consumer while remaining realistic about business and tech. I see myself as the partner for the team, fostering a good culture while striving for what I believe is right. For me, design is more than aesthetics; it's about being honest, transparent, and have open communication both in our experiences, as well as within the teams' culture.
Beyond work, I'm a book lover, painter, sewer and plant enthusiast. You'll often find me exploring the outdoors with my daughter and husband.
